The 7th World Cultural Heritage Youth Symposium 2026 focuses on the “unknown” Heritage, which includes the monuments or landscapes which are not inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list but still are important for the local society. The Symposium invites students and teachers to engage in the topic by participating into various activities before and during the Symposium and by collaborating with other delegations.
The activities will be developed:
• Before the symposium as a collaborative project under the guidance of the teacher(s).
• During the symposium as a collaborative project between the various delegations.
Each delegation has to present a monument or landscape in their homeland which is not listed on the UNESCO World Haritage List. For the presentation students can create a PowerPoint or a Video.
The presentation’s duration is 15 min. max.
Please note:
1. Teachers are kindly requested to ensure that the presentation does not exceed the duration of 15 minutes.
